The German Biogas Association (Fachverband Biogas) has joined the Gas for Climate initiative. This means that the sector association from the country with the most biogas plants and the largest installed capacity in Europe will be more involved in the joint effort to achieve the 2-degree target of the Paris Agreement. In order to reach the target, the scale-up and switch to green gases are seen as key components. Their knowledge and experience of biogas and biomethane are seen as a valuable addition to the consortium.
